Training Development Contract Technical Manager Course (TDCTMC)
in REDESIGN
1. COURSE DESCRIPTION: TDCTMC
is a seven-day (56-hour) course which provides instruction on how to manage the technical aspects of a training
development contract. The course has two phases consisting of 14 modules and use two delivery media: Blackboard™
(Bb) and interactive multimedia instruction (IMI). Phase 1 uses individualized, self-paced instruction with IMI
as the method of instruction. Phase 2 also uses individualized, self-paced instruction and includes Practical
Exercises.
Specific topics include: Contract Fundamentals, Contract Pre-Award Phase, Post-Award Phase, Development Phase,
and Closeout.
2. TARGET POPULATION:
The course is intended for Department of the Army personnel with a training development background in civilian
grades GS 11 through GS 14.
