FOR INTERACTIVE MULTIMEDIA

COURSEWARE

This
document defines the minimum computer configuration required to play DL XXI
courseware. This baseline is intended to
be compatible with Classroom XXI Student Workstation Configuration and the
Digital Training Facility (DTF) Student Workstation (SW) Configuration. Unique
configuration features of the Classroom XXI Student Workstation Configuration can

The
Classroom XXI Student Workstation Configuration and the DTF Student Workstation
Configuration represent hardware and software configurations required to
display “Legacy”, “Commercial-Off-the-Shelf,” and future courseware. This document focuses on the configuration
required to display courseware developed under the Distance Learning XXI
(DLXXI) Contract. System features listed
are intended to show minimum computer capabilities required to play DLXXI
courseware and are not DLXXI Contract requirements. The DLXXI Contract and its supporting
documents and standards shall determine specific Courseware development
requirements.
1.
MINIMUM COMPUTER CONFIGURATION.
1.1. CPU -
Pentium II / III or equivalent, 233 or higher MHz speed
1.2. Random
Access Memory (RAM) - 192 Mbytes (minimum 50 Mbytes
available)
Virtual Memory shall be set at 1.5 times the amount
of RAM.

Sound Blaster compatible audio card to include:
