SCORM v1.2 Acceptance Criteria for FY01-04

All courseware delivered under Distance Learning XXI (DLXXI) was tested for SCORM v1.2 conformance. Criteria for the Army's Acceptance of SCORM courseware deliverables are summarized as follows:

Manifest and all meta-data files will be determined to be SCORM conformant according to the latest schemas in the Content Package Conformance Test of the current ADL Test Suite software.

All relative file paths in the Manifest file will be verified.

The SCO, Content Aggregation and Asset meta-data files will be verified to contain Army mandatory meta-data tags. See Attachment #6 of the 2 Jan 2003 and 26 Jun 2003 DLXXI Statements of Work. See Attachment #7 of the 19 Jun 2002 DLXXI Statement of Work.

All SCOS will be tested for Run-Time Conformance using the Run-Time Conformance Testing in ADL Test Suite software.

SCOs must include Army mandatory run-time API calls. See Attachment #5 of the 2 Jan 2003 and 26 Jun 2003 DLXXI Statements of Work. See Attachment #6 of the 19 Jun 2002 DLXXI Statement of Work.

All hyperlinks outside of the local domain (external links) in the Manifest file will be verified.

Physical files are compared to the resource files listed on the Manifest to determine a complete or incomplete manifest.

The LMS menu created from the "imsmanifest.xml" file is compared to the course map for consistency.

With this package, the courseware can be pre-tested before submitting to the Courseware Manager for final acceptance.
