Upon receipt of courseware by IMI Support Team, the courseware
is logged in; the Resource Validator and Content Package Conformance
Tests are conducted before courseware is loaded to the Aspen test server or the Saba Content Validation Server (CVS) and assigned
to the queue.
If the date on the Statement of Work is before 26 June 2003 and the Resource Validator logs show missing or undetected files, this is not considered a failure. If the courseware fails the Content Package Conformance Test, testing would stop and the courseware will be returned to the contractor to fix.
If the date on the Statement of Work is on or after 26 June 2003, and it is stated in the document in paragraph 3.3.1.5 that "The contractor shall develop the Content Package so that all resources (assets, SCOs and aggregations) are contained within the Content Package and listed in the imsmanifest file" and the courseware fails either the Resource Validator or the Content Package Conformance Test, testing
would stop and the courseware will be returned to the contractor to fix.
Upon return of fixed courseware, the Resource Validator and Content Package Conformance
Test would be run again. If the courseware passes these two tests, it would
be put in the testing queue and assigned to first available training technician
to complete further testing.
