Testing Procedure

Upon receipt of lessons/modules and final IMI courseware products by the Courseware Certification Team (CCT), the deliverables will be logged in; the Resource Validator test is conducted to verify the Package Interchange File (PIF) integrity.  For prototypes, lessons/modules and final IMI courseware products, the SCORM test and Army Mandatory test log files will be reviewed.  After passing these reviews, the files for the deliverable will be loaded onto the ALMS Content Validation Server (CVS) and entered into the testing queue.

If errors are found during the log file review or the playability review, for a module or final IMI courseware product the courseware would be returned to the developer for correction; for a module the errors would be reported back to the developer and used as "lessons learned".

Upon return of final IMI courseware products, the Resource Validator test will be conducted again; for prototypes and IMI courseware products, the log files will be reviewed.  If the files pass these reviews, the courseware will be entered into the testing queue.
