Analysis Division Functions
- Provide analytical support to the TSS.
- Provide analytical support to the TL GOSC.
- ATSC functional interface with Army and DOD analysis agencies.
- ATSC proponent for civilian and military ORSAs.
- Conduct/sponsor training support studies.
- Conduct quick reaction "hip pocket" analysis for ATSC Cdr and staff.
- Develop and maintain an ORSA software "tool kit".
- Project and manage internal analytical support requirements.
- Develop decision support tools.
- Provide analytical rigor to investment strategy decisions.
- Develop and maintain a "virtual library" of training support research, studies, and analyses.
- Operate under the auspices of AR 5-5, Studies and Analyses.
- Coordinate ATSC input to Army sponsored studies programs.
- Perform studies, effectiveness analysis, and research to define and quantify links between training support initiatives and Army readiness.
- Conduct independent, rigorous analysis of the effectiveness of Training Support System components, as directed.
- Develops and reviews assessment standards and metrics for studies of training support initiatives.
- Participates in development and sustainment of annual Training Technology Master Plan.
- Develops, coordinates, and executes annual Command Assessment Plan as well as ad hoc assessments.
- Prepares surveys, automated assessments, and other data collection instruments and provides assistance to other ATSC agencies.
- Serves as ATSC POC for QA and assessment coordination with FDIC's and HQ TRADOC.
- Assists and supports training proponents, HQDA, and other agencies in identifying and evaluating new Training Support System initiatives.
- Studies and examines new training technologies, concepts, delivery systems, and other innovations from business, academia, research, and other governmental organizations that might impact on the Training Support Systems. Assess sample prototypes and concepts that demonstrate new educational or training innovations.
