Products & Services
- As delegated by TRADOC, serves as HQDA executive agent for:
- Range Modernization and Standardization
- Standards in Training Commission (STRAC)
- Integrated Training Area Management (ITAM)
- Tactical Engagement Simulation (TES)
- Training ammunition management
- Acts as a TRADOC Capability Manager (TCM) for the Live Training Environment
- Serve as the Army Range Safety Program Manager
- Conduct Range Safety Instruction for the Army and US Marine Corps
- Responsible for instrumented tactical training ranges, targetry, and TRADOC-produced training devices, and is proponent for:
- Training land
- TES development
- Live training support programs
- Combat Training Center training support systems (TSS)
- TRADOC Range Program
- Training Support to the Legacy, Interim, and Future Forces
- Ensures Army Modernization Training fully supports transformation
- Army representative to joint committees/boards for instrumented tactical training ranges. Provides training device support and manages the Army’s training device inventory necessary to prepare the Army for war
- Fully supports 2010 mission that will provide relevant, effective training support
- TPIO-Live is a TSS enabler and a TSS force multiplier for proponents, TSMs, and materiel developers
- Supports multipurpose, multi-echelon training transformation required to conduct the training integration mission to frame the training support needs of the Objective Force and develop a vision to meet these needs
